A Limited Edition commemorative colouring-in book bursting with all your favourite Covid-19 heroes.
About Lockdown Legends
From our NHS angels to Captain Tom Moore, we have carefully selected those who have stood-up to make a difference, or to those who have given us a welcome distraction, such as Joe Exotic. These will be the faces and images we’ll remember when we look back at these crazy times.
We have printed the colouring-in book at A3 single-sided to give the best impact and satisfying result for you. They include Captain Tom Moore, Her Majesty the Queen, Joe Wicks, Joe Exotic and 4 more dedicated to the NHS.
Creatives of all ages will adore making their very own masterpieces to treasure forever.
We are selling these for £10 each via the University Hospitals Birmingham Charity’s website. Every penny goes to charity but we do need to charge £2.95 for standard postage.
SOME OF YOUR AMAZING CREATIONS!
THE BIRTH OF Lockdown Legends
This colouring-in poster book was created by lifelong friends Sabina Gran and Anna Plotnek, to celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of NHS staff and key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Amazing artist and illustrator Sabina lost her income as a result of the virus. Instead of floundering, she used her time to create these beautiful keepsake colouring-in posters to help others reduce anxiety and stress through creativity.
Having promoted the hand-drawn images for free across social media and generating lots of positive feedback (especially from NHS staff and patients), the idea was born to collate them into a Limited Edition book.
So, in conjunction with Anna’s team at Coleshill-based branding and marketing agency PLOTT, the Lockdown Legends colouring-in poster book was born.
Every penny from the Lockdown Legends colouring book will go to University Hospitals Birmingham Charity’s NHS Superheroes appeal, which provides support for frontline workers at the Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Solihull and Good Hope hospitals, along with the new temporary Nightingale hospital. Cash raised will fund snacks and treats for staff, overnight packs for those staying away from home and tablets so patients can video call their families.
